Alcohol Ink Workshop by Mary Wojciechowski

  • The Preservation Framer 31 North Washington Street North Attleboro, MA 02760 USA (map)

Alcohol Ink is a highly pigmented and quick-drying medium applied by pouring, brushing or stamping on a non-porous surface such as Yupo. The vibrant colors of this ink intermingle creating unique textural effects, often leading to unexpected results.

Join us for a two and a half hour workshop exploring this new and exciting painting medium. Our class will begin with a demonstration on techniques of pouring, brushing and creating textures with inks and other materials. The remaining time will be spent discovering the unique possibilities of working with alcohol inks on Yupo, with sufficient time to complete many paintings. Each participant will leave with many experimental pieces and one “finished” piece.

Price per person: $50
Price per person for groups of 2 or more: $45
Class includes all materials, matting materials for “finished” piece, lesson, and artwork to take home.

* It would be advisable to bring a paint shirt or apron to protect clothing.
