Alcohol Ink Floral Paintings Intermediate Level with Mary Wojciechowski

  • The Churchwood Gallery at The Preservation Framer 31 North Washington Street North Attleboro, MA 02760 USA (map)

This workshop will explore the unique qualities of alcohol ink and how it may be used for flowing abstracted works, representational images and subjects that incorporate both.  Flowers will be the primary subject, taking full advantage of these vibrant colored inks that intermingle in ways that create unique textural effects, often with unexpected results.

This workshop is designed for those who have some prior experience and would like to learn new techniques in handling this medium. It is experimental and students will explore the unique nature of the inks, with a sense of creative playfulness during the process. All painting materials and Yupo will be provided.

Students are each asked to bring an apron or smock and some small pieces of cardboard to use in carrying their paintings home.
